Yuriy Bolsa
Yuriy Bolsa (born 1997, Chervonohrad, Lviv region) is a Ukrainian artist. He graduated from the Higher Professional School №11 in Chervonohrad with a degree in computer typing and typesetting (2015). Participated in numerous collective projects: "That's Wassup", Center for Contemporary Art M17, Kyiv (2017), "Children of Dr. Frankenstein", Pavlo Gudimov Ya Gallery Art Center, Kyiv (2018), "Uglification", MetaCulture, Kyiv (2019), Second Biennale of Young Art, Kharkiv (2019), Between Fire and Fire. Ukrainian Art Now, Vienna (2019), Festival of Naive Art (2021), Art Seasons. Verbalisation, Modern Art Research Institute, Kyiv (2021), The Captured House, WeGil gallery, Rome (2022), The Captured House, Alte Münze, Berlin (2022), La Biennale di Venezia, as part of the installation Piazza Ucraina, Venice (2022). His personal exhibitions include: "The Negatives", Museum of Contemporary Art "Artery", Odesa (2016), "Reckless decisions", Chech Gallery, Ivano-Frankivsk (2018), "Live, do not be afraid", Dymchuk Gallery, Kyiv (2018), "Anti-romance", Ornament Art Space, Kyiv (2019). In 2022, he became a scholarship holder of the Ambassadors of Culture — the program of the Museum of Odesa Modern Art.
