This series, which contains more than 150 artworks in A3 format, became an obsessive practice for the author in the spring of 2022 during the full-scale invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine. This is an intuitive, "hysterical" creation in an attempt to express the excess of everything that is happening around. Usually, the artist spends a lot of time thinking, weighing and searching, that is, he works long and thoughtfully. Quick expression is uncharacteristic for him, but this method became almost the only one possible under the impact of the events of the war.
These images are remarkably similar, the black outlines of dense smoke seem to repeat themselves from work to work. They look alike, but they are not the same. Traces of explosions and fires vary. Each act of aggression and each tragedy are unique. At the same time, endless news about war atrocities turn into a uniform array of horrors and internal breakdowns.
