Oksana Zapotochna
Oksana Zapotochna (1993, Ivano-Frankivsk) os a Ukrainian artist. She graduated from the Department of Design and Art Theory at the Institute of Arts of Vasyl Stefanyk Prykarpattia National University. She has been working as a graphic designer and illustrator for several years. However, art has always been a part of her life. She held her first personal exhibition in Detector Gallery (Ivano-Frankivsk) in 2021. In the same year, she participated in a group exhibition “Change” (Mykolaiv) during Mykolaiv Art Week. In 2022, she received the first mention of her project in a Boomer magazine (London). She has been staying in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Her project underwent transformations as war-caused emotions had to be lived through. Still, the focus remains on the value of every human life.
