The drawings contrast a cartographic image of the so-called annexed Ukrainian territories, which became such due to military interventions of the Russian Federation, and a schematic image of the process of amputation of a human limb. This juxtaposition reveals the similarity of the phantom pain from the loss of a limb with the pain caused by the loss of territory.
