Larion Lozovoy and Kateryna Yermolayeva

Larion Lozovoy (b. 1987, Kyiv) is a Ukrainian artist and independent researcher working in Kyiv, Ukraine. He graduated from the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy”, receiving degrees in Philosophy and Political Science. He completed the Course of contemporary art at the School of Visual Communication in 2014 and Moscow Curatorial School by V-A-C Foundation in 2016. He authored critical texts for Korydor, Prostory and Krytyka Polityczna online magazines. Currently, he conducts artistic research within Critical Archiving Laboratory and Concrete Dates Collective formations. Additionally, he engages in publishing works in contemporary European philosophy and public policy analysis. Areas of specific interest include contemporary museology, material culture and new media studies. He was nominated for "PinchukArtCentre Prize 2018", "PinchukArtCentre Prize 2020" and "Visible Award". Kateryna Yermolayeva (b. 1985, Donetsk) is a Ukrainian artist. She graduated from Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in 2007. Currently, works and resides in Kyiv. Works with graphics, installation, and other genres. She authored several street-art projects under “Mikhalych” alias. In 2014, she completed the Contemporary art course at the School of Visual Communications. She was nominated for Sergey Kuryokhin Contemporary Art Award in 2015 and Pinchuk Art Centre Prize in 2015 and 2018. She was a participant in multiple group projects, e.g. “On Autonomy”, Kmytiv Museum of Soviet Art (2019), “Instant Time”, Mystetskyi Arsenal, Kyiv (2019), “A Space of One’s Own”, PinchukArtCentre, Kyiv (2019), “The Fabricated Past in a Conflict Country”, Le Praticable, Rennes (2015), «Joke», Korydor Gallery, Uzhhorod (2015), “Production of Choice”, Concrete Dates Collective, group action in public space as a part of “The School of Kyiv” International Biennial, Kyiv (2015) as well as held a number of personal exhibitions: “People Under My Skin”, Psyburo, Kyiv, (2020), “Introtourist”, Closer Art Centre, Kyiv (2017), “Homo/Animalis”, Mala Gallery, Kyiv (2014), etc.
