Inna Maksymenko
Inna Maksymenko (b. 1996, Sumy) is a Ukrainian photographer. In 2019, she started taking reportage photos and videos for the Ecopolis NGO ecoactivists (Kharkiv). In 2019, she participated in the project “Constructivism.Kharkiv”, organised by the ArtOborona NGO with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation (UCF). In 2020, she was one of the organisers and photographers in the tourist project “From the Park to the Park” (ArtOborona NGO) carried out with the support of UCF and the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine.
Inna graduated with honours from the Sumy Center of Design and Services, majoring in the profession of “Photographer”. Since November 2022, she has been working on capturing the emotions and daily life of Ukrainians during the Russia-Ukraine war. Report photos from bombed Kharkiv formed the basis of the “What's in Your Head?” project. In 2023, images from this project were shown in cities across Ukraine and the European Union.
