Elias Parvulesco
Elias Parvulesco (b. 1985, Kyiv region) is a Ukrainian artist, director, and film researcher. Co-founder of the ruins collective art association. Author of the following documentary and experimental films: "The Limits of Europe" (2014), "The Pink Map" (2016), "dendro dreams" (2018), "Lviv Intervision" (2018), "zong" (2019) and others. Participated in international film festivals in Marseille (France), Jihlava (Czech Republic), Oberhausen (Germany), Glasgow (Great Britain). Participated in the collective art projects "Gray Cube" (2016), "Social realism. Pretend to be different" (2017), "Creating Ruin" (2018, 2019), "Armed and Dangerous" (2019), Kyiv Biennial (2021), UNFOLDING LANDSCAPES (2022), “Chain Reaction” (2022), “To Watch the War — The Moving Image Amidst the Invasion of Ukraine (2014 –2022)” (2022), Antiwarcoalition.art (2022), "Heart of Earth" (2022); "NHT", personal exhibition (together with Teta Tsybulnyk) in the Mala Gallery of the Mystetskyi Arsenal (2019). Nominee of the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2020, a nationwide prize in contemporary art.
