A series of 9 square images depict authentic fragments of Ukrainian culture. In each of the canvases, we can see details like a candleholder from a flea market; a swan made of car tires, which is a really common decoration in the yards of the residential areas in all Ukrainian cities; a fragment of a carpet on the wall from someone’s grandmother's house; ornaments from handmade fabric bought in Kosovo market some summers ago; a tree, sky, bread, the mountains, and an empty beach in the village of Zatoka, Odesa region.

This is a kind of testimony, a documentation of elements, and a small collection of uniqueness, which, if you would anyhow put it all together, forms a portrait of the personal image of Aglaya’s home, from East to West, far and wide.

The series is still in process and will be supplemented with new fragments over time.
